As a new player it may be a good idea to query the mayor as to any vault or gathering bin rules that the village has. This is a great way to spread information about village policies or coordinate project donations. Players can opt to send a mail (that does not have an item attached) to everyone in their village. This chat channel will allow you to speak with anyone who resides in the same village as you, regardless of location. Once you've moved into a Village, you will unlock 2 additional forms of communication. This will make it easier to transit between the various districts and stations. Once you've moved into a town, one of the first things you may wish to do is unlock the various teleporter NPCs scattered around the zone. You can always move around later if you so desire. Choose whichever District suits your taste. The General District is much closer to the gathering and crafting stations though. They each have amenities such as community vault access, water wells, teleporters and vendors. It is recommended to check the former Guild towns first, as they could have made decent progress on their projects already. The Guild towns that are currently private are closed for the general public, but the former Guild towns at the start of the list are actually public, and open for settlement. It will begin with any former Guild villages that have gone public, and then it move on to a list of Guild villages that are currently private. These towns are open for settlement by any player, so long as there are slots open.įollowing that, is a list of all of the Guild villages. Public villages are ordered based on population. The first part contains all of the public villages on the server. This menu contains a list of all the villages on your server. When you enter the portal, you'll be met with a window which asks you to select a village. ![]() They appear as orange portals on the map: One in Summer's Hollow, and the other in Ardent City. There are two village portals in the game. These are two of the slowest skills to level, so you don't want to fall behind right off the bat. For now, the priority should be obtaining a house so that you can advance your gardening and ranching levels. Most likely you'll end up making some friends in other towns or join a private Guild town down the road. ![]() It would be a good idea to find a well populated town with decently ranked stations, but even if none are available it will not detriment your character in any way. When you're just starting out in the game just keep in mind that your first village is not set in stone.
